DHANUSA, July 26: Three months have already passed since the new academic year began but community school students in many districts in this region are yet to receive the course text books.

Students, who can afford, have been making photocopies of the text book borrowed from neighboring districts. [break]However, a large number of them still hope that they would receive the text book soon, before it is too late to catch up with their peers.

Course text books have run out of stock in Dhanusa, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Sindhuli, Siraha, Saptari, Udayapur, Okhaldhunga and Khotang districts.

The state-owned Sajha publications´ branch office in Janakpur is responsible to supply the government-approved and printed course text books in those districts.

Chief of the branch office, Raj Kishore Yadav, accepted the inability of his office to supply the text books on time.

Binod Shaha, proprietor of the Saraswati Pustak Sadan in Janakpur says he has not been able to receive the text books despite depositing the payment for the same three months ago.
