Telephone service disrupted in Chatara

CHATARA, Feb. 19: Telephone services remain disrupted at Chautara of Sindhupalchowk district for the past one week after the telephone cables there were stolen.



Some 50 telephone lines in Chautara and Sanusirubari VDCs have been disrupted as 600 meters telephone cable from Laxmandanda of Chautara to Sanusirubari of Melchour was stolen, according to the Nepal Telecom, Chautara branch.



Cable worth Rs. 500,000 was stolen. Chief at the office, Amarnath Thapa, said it will take few days to resume the services.
