Surya Nepal defeated NCELL by three wickets in the match. NCELL won the toss and elected to field first. Trishakti Rana´s unbeaten 34 runs helped Surya Nepal score 66 runs for four wickets in the total five overs. NCELL were not able to meet the target of 67 runs and were restricted to 44 at the cost of three wickets in five overs. Ranjan Sharma of NCELL took the highest two wickets in the match.
In another match, Suraj Singh Thakuri of Kantipur Group also scored 34 runs after their opponent Sanima Bikash Bank (SBB) elected to field first. Kantipur made 80 runs for two wickets in the allotted five overs. Kantipur won the match by 11 runs after SBB was stopped at 69 runs. Padam Mahata contributed 31 runs for SBB.
KIST Bank elected to bat first against Indian Embassy and scored 67 runs for two wickets playing full overs. In reply, Indian Embassy met the target of 68 runs in 4.3 overs. They won the match by four wickets after scoring 70 runs for two wickets.
KIST Bank won another match against NMB Bank by six wickets. NMB Bank elected to bat first and made 68 runs for two wickets. KIST made 69 runs without losing any wickets in 4.3 overs to register their first victory.
International Development Bank scored 65 runs losing a wicket in the allotted five overs against NIC Bank. NIC Bank were able to bag 50 runs for three wickets but lost the match by 15 runs.
In other matches of the day, Bank of Asia, Citizens Bank, Bank of Kathmandu and Standard Chartered registered victories to gain two points each.
Bank of Asia defeated Laxmi Bank by 16 runs while Citizens Bank ousted Apca Nepal by 32 runs. Bank of Kathmandu registered a four-wicket win over Himalayan Bank. Standard Chartered beat Amarawati Travels by five wickets.
