KATHMANDU, Sept 3: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Sujata Koirala has been elected as co-chair of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP).
According to a press statement issued by Koirala's Personal Secretariat, Koirala was elected as co-chair of Women Bureau of the ICAPP during its third general assembly held in Azerbaijan.

The three-day conference that concluded Thursday decided to continue working for economic development and continue political cooperation in Asia.
Koirala, who is chief of NC's Foreign Relations Department, expressed commitment to make the activities of ICAPP further dynamic and active.
