Students detained teachers

ARGHAKHANCHI, June 1: Students belonging to Vidhyabodh higher secondary school, Balkot of Arghakhanchi district on Tuesday detained their teachers for four hours citing dillydallying in textbook distribution.



The irate students put their teachers on detention in office room from 10 AM to 1 PM saying that the school delayed the free distribution of textbooks even though one-and-a half-month elapsed since the beginning of the educational year. [break]



The teachers were freed from detention only after the school administration agreed to address the demand of students at the earliest, students said.
