Standard Chartered bank resumes operation

KATHMANDU, April 10: The Standard Chartered Bank Nepal’s Lazimpat branch resumed its daily operation after the Metropolitan Police Range confirmed that the telephone call to be a hoax call.



Standard Chartered bank on Sunday morning got a call from an unidentified person saying that there is a bomb planted within the bank’s premises.



The operation of the bank was disrupted as the employees rushed out of the bank following the call.



Investigation is underway to apprehend the caller.
