The final team will be declared after elimination of four players from those selected. The selection committee formed under the coordination of Arun Kumar Aryal had selected them from among 30 players after conducting a month-long closed camp.
Gyanendra Malla is the captain of the squad while Amrit Bhattarai, Chandra Saud, Binod Bhandari, Naresh Budhayer, Subash Khakurel, Lokendra Chand, Prithu Baskota, Rupesh Sriwastav, Bhuwan Karki, Anil Kumar Mandal, Aakash Gupta, Amit Shrestha, Rom Shrestha, Pradeep Sapkota, Pradeep Aire, Anupam Singh and Sagar Pun are the other selected players. All of them are of U-23 age group as only players of U-23 age group are eligible to participate in SAG cricket.
NSC expresses concern over padlocking
KATHMANDU, Dec 20: The National Sports Council (NSC) has raised serious concern over the padlocking of its office on Saturday. An unidentified group padlocked the NSC on Saturday.
The padlocking is targeted to disrupt the ongoing training for the 11th SAG and NSC condemns it, states a press release issued by NSC and also warns not to conduct such activities in future.
City College in second round
BIRATNAGAR, Dec 20: City College defeated Orchid Higher Secondary School 2-0 in the football´s event on Sunday during the HISSAN Sports Week being held here at the Martyrs Stadium. Himal Mandal scored twice for City College in the tournament organized by Higher Secondary Schools´ Association Nepal.

Likewise, Koshi College, Maryland, City and Star College entered into the second round of the cricket´s event of the Sports Week.
