Socket bomb goes off in Kailali

DHANGADI, July 14: A socket bomb went off near Sewa Nursing Hospital at Attariya of Kailali district on Saturday morning. However, no human casualty have been reported so far.



According to Ghanashyam Aryal, superintendent of police (SP) at Kailali district police office, another unexploded bomb found at the site has been defused by the special squad of Nepal Army. [break]



Police are yet to identify the culprits involved in the crime. SP Aryal said that they have already launched a manhunt to nab the culprits.



Last night a gang of 4 to 5 men had attempted to loot the Attariya-based NCC Bank. However, the police reached the bank on time and foiled their plan, informed SP Aryal.



Police suspect involvement of the same gang in planting the bomb at the incident site.
