Judges Gopal Chitrakar (senior photographer), Jagadish Tiwari (senior landscape photographer), Bijay Kumar Pandey (senior journalist), Aditya Baral (director of Nepal Tourism Board), Mani Lama (senior photographer), Sujan Chitrakar (coordinator of Art and Design, Kathmandu University), Bikash Rauniyar (photo editor, Kantipur) and Chandra Shekar Karki (photo editor, Republica) picked Shrestha’s photo from around 7,000 photos submitted by more than 800 amateur and professional photographers.

Meanwhile, the photo exhibition of Mega Photo Competition kicked off at Nepal Art Council, Babermahal from Friday.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Constituent Assembly Chairman Subas Nembang admired roles of photo in creating awareness among people. “Photo reflects the reality of Nepal,” Nembang said.
The photo exhibition will last till Tuesday, May 15.
