According to officials of Satyam, the agency will operate one flight a day on Sundays and Mondays and two flights on Tuesdays on Pokhara-Jomsom-Pokhara sector.
Although NAC is charging Rs 2,300 for one-way flight on Pokhara-Jomson route, passengers flying in chartered flights will have to pay around Rs 6,000.
Amrit Adhikari, director of Satyam Tours, said the company will be allowed to use the aircraft for a period of six months and that they were making payment on the basis of flight hours.
NAC is using its Pokhara-based Twin Otter to operate flights to Jomsom on Thursdays and Saturdays and Manang on Saturdays.
Satyam is eyeing Indian pilgrims visiting Muktinath as major clients on Pokhara-Jomsom flights. It is planning to operate flights on Pokhara-Bhairahawa and Kathmandu-Lukla routes soon.
