The organizers took out a rally around the town and also awarded cash prize to the SAG medalists. As the rally marched from Lagankhel´s bus park, the locals applauded the heroes at every nook and cranny of the town while Nabil Three Star Club´s President Lalit Krishna Shrestha welcomed the players at Mangalbazar with garlands. The rally then moved toward Pulchowk and concluded at Jawalakhel´s playground where the program´s chief guest Ram Chandra Poudel handed over the cash prize.
Lalitpur´s taekwondo player Ayasha Shakya and karateka Binod Shakya had won golds in the SAG while Binod Maharjan (karate) had won silver medal. Players from the district who bagged bronze medals are Rajan Joshi (judo), Purushottam Bajracharya (table tennis) and Sajan Krishna Tamrakar (badminton).
The gold medalists received Rs 20,000, silver medalists Rs 15,000 and bronze medalists Rs 10,000. The coaches received letters of appreciation from the committee.

Meanwhile, Bishnu Auto Care felicitated taekwondo´s SAG medalists amid a separate function in the capital. Minister for Forests and Soil Conservation Deepak Bohara handed over cash prize to the players.
Gold medalists Deepak Bista and Ayasha Shakya received Rs 50,000 each, silver medalists Manita Shahi and Kumar Manandhar Rs 15,000 each and bronze medalists Dan Bahadur Aire and Yan Kumari Chaulagain got Rs 10,000 each.
