As many as 26 cadres including four ward chairpersons of RPP and CPN-UML have defected to NC amid an election campaign program organized by the party in Halle Kalika VDC.
Similarly, 21 Maoist cadres including an ex-Maoist fighter have joined the NC in yet another NC program held in the same VDC. [break]
It is learned that 47 cadres from RPP and UML joined NC at a program held by the party in Ganesh VDC in the district.
NC candidate of the Constituency-2 Mahat welcomed the new entrants with garlands amid a program in the district.
Meanwhile, the UCPN (Maoist) cadres have reportedly warned NC Regional Committee Advisor Sun Bahadur Tamang for holding election campaigns, said candidate Mahat’s aide.
