Reconstruction Nepal Campaign readies 86 temporary homes

KATHMANDU, Sept 17: The Reconstruction Nepal Campaign, launched by Mission Rebuild Nepal, an organization of Non Residential Nepalis of the US, has handed over makeshift homes to the earthquake victims in Sindhupalchowk district.

In its attempt to build some 998 shelters for the earthquake victims within a year, the organization has so far prepared 68 makeshift shelters which are ready to be used, said Yuvraj Sharma, vice chairperson of the campaign.The campaign also aims to create income generating opportunities for the victims so that they can rebuild their lives.
