Both teams lacked the cutting edge in the first half as they failed to score with weak shots. But the second half was entirely different as RCT dominated Friends scoring within ten minutes after the break.
Darlami received the ball in the box and curled a powerful left-footer to the right corner of the post as Friends´ custodian Sagar Gurung dived in vain.
Amar Dangol snatched the ball from Prince Paul in the 63rd minute and scored the second goal which hit the left post and got deflected in.
A minute later, RCT should have scored more but David Nkang hit a rebound above the bar. Nkang was in a perfect position to score with only the keeper to beat after he met the rebound off keeper Gurung who had blocked Darlami´s shot.
Friends earned a penalty in the 70th minute after Alexis Likeng fouled Santosh Singh in the box. But Friends´ skipper Pradhan´s shot was saved by RCT´s second choice keeper Prem Tamang.

RCT´s Sulabh Jung Rana´s shot off a corner hit the post in the injury time.
With the victory, RCT has gather six points from two matches following its 1-0 win over APF in the first match.
RCT coach Madhu Karki expressed satisfaction that his team was able to beat good teams but rued that the team could have scored much more goals. “We dominated the second half but couldn´t score more goals due to negligence,” he said.
Friends has three points as it had earlier defeated Swayambhu Club 3-0 in the first match.
Friends´ coach Paras Chaudhary said his team didn´t perform as expected this time.
