Rastriya Jagriti defeated Samrat Sporting Club of Biratnagar 4-3 in tiebreaker to take home the title after the regulation time ended in 1-1 tie and the added time finished goalless.[break]
With the win, Rastriya Jagriti bagged a purse of Rs 40,000 along with trophy and certificates. The runner up Samrat Sporting received Rs 25,000.
Sachindra Dhimal, Madan Rai (A), Madan Rai (B) and Prabesh Katuwal converted their spotkicks for Rastriya Jagriti. Manoj Marik, Bishal Tamang and Bhusan Limbu only achieved target for Samrat Sporting Club in spotkicks.
Sandip Thapamagar of Rastriya Jagriti was declared man-of-the-match. Shekhar Limbu of Dhankuta received a cash award of Rs 2,000 as the highest scorer.
Altogether eight teams of the eastern region had participated in the tournament organized by Rajbas Youth Club.
