Policeman dies in suspected heart attack

RAUTAHAT, April 13: A policeman on patrol at Chandranigahapur died on Monday morning.

Constable Lok Bahadur Thing, 25, deployed at Temporary Police Post at Chandrapur Municipality died at around 3 am this morning. Thing hailing from Manaharwa-8 of Bara had collapsed at around 2 am after complaining of chest pain.


Police rushed him to Chandranigahapur Hospital for treatment, but he breathed last while receiving treatment, said DSP Netramai Giri at Area Police Office, Chandranigahapur, adding doctors suspect heart attack for the death.

The dead body has been kept at a government hospital of Chandrapur Municipality and will be handed over to family after autopsy.
