PM, Koirala agree to continue talks on peace process

KATHMANDU, Sept 27: An agreement has been reached between Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai and Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala to expedite high-level discussions aimed at concluding the peace process and the constitution writing process.



As per the agreement reached following talks between the two leaders at the Maharajgunj residence of Koirala Tuesday, the high-level discussion will begin from tomorrow.



Prime Minister Dr Bhattarai had gone to Koirala’s residence in order to share him about his meetings with leaders of various countries during his participation in the recent UN General Assembly, and also to exchange views on matters relating to peace and the new constitution, according to Prime Minister’s press advisor, Ramrijhan Yadav.
