On the occasion, President Yadav agreed to give five more days to the political parties for choosing new prime ministerial candidate for national consensus government upon their request. However, President Yadav categorically said that this would be the last extension of deadline.
Talking to the reporters after the meeting, UCPN (Maoist) leader Amik Sherchan informed that president strictly directed the leaders of the political parties to forge consensus within new deadline as the repeated extension of deadline would not be practical.
