"Pal" to release without poster pasting

KATHMANDU, April 9: Pal, the Nepali film written by writer and hotelier Karna Sakya, is releasing without its posters being pasted in public places.



In a press statement issued by Sakya, he says, “For the promotion of Pal, we aren’t pasting the poster of the film in streets and monumental areas but distributing booklets and brochures instead.” [break]



Through this initiative, he hopes to keep Kathmandu clean and build an example for other filmmakers who are seen to paste posters haphazardly to promote their films. The brochure of Pal consists of the full details of the film.



Starring actors Tripti Nadekar, Anup Baral, Rajballav Koirala and Nisha Adhikari, Pal has been directed by Ramesh Budhathoki.
