Only we are a pro-change force: Dahal

BUTWAL (REPUBLICA): UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has urged the people to vote for his party so that the party gets a clear majority to institutionalize the achievements of the previous Constituent Assembly (CA).



Dahal also claimed that his party was the single pro-change force in the country at present. Addressing a gathering at constituency 5 of Saljhandi VDC in Rupandehi on Sunday, Dahal said, “CPN-UML and Nepali Congress did not want CA election to be held and neither were they in favor of federalism. But, they had to accept the Maoist line eventually.” Speaking at the same function, UCPN (Maoist) leader Baburam Bhattarai expressed his commitment to rid the country of poverty within the next 15 years.
