Thapa succumbed to his injuries while being rushed to a hospital in district headquarters in Gaighat, informed Narendra Uprety, deputy superintendent of police, District Police Office, Udaypur.
The jeep (Sa 1 Cha 78) en-route to Gaighat met with the accident in Khairahajhoda this morning.
The injured are undergoing treatment at a hospital in Gaighat.
