Speaking at a press meet in Janakpur on Monday, Lohani said, “Questions of legitimacy may be raised if Mohan Baidya-led CPN-Maoist does not participate in the polls.” He also said that the government should forge consensus between the all the political parties to hold meaningful polls. “Regmi-led government was formed with a clear mandate to hold the elections,” he said, adding, “All the parties should help the government conduct meaningful elections.”
