No environment for wearing badge: CA member

TANAHU, Feb 26: CA member Parbati Thapa on Saturday said that there is no atmosphere for going about wearing the CA badge due to security threat.



She added that CA members would wear the CA badge only in safe locations in view of growing insecurity. [break]



“Impunity is rife. There is no law and order in the country,” She said, adding, “ We are deprived of being introduced to others as CA members due to the unfavorable situation.”



She said there is slim chance of promulgating the new constitution because of political leaders fishing in murky waters.



She also claimed that CA members have already fulfilled their responsibilities. “Only a few issues are yet to be resolved for the new constitution. If top leaders want, the promulgation of the new constitution is not a problem.”
