DHANGADI, Nov 25: Senior Nepali Congress (NC) leader Sher Bahadur Deuba said on Sunday there would be no dispute in choosing the prime ministerial candidate from the party.

“There would be no dispute for the leadership (of the new government) in Congress,” Deuba told reporters at the Dhangadhi airport. “We will determine who is going to be the prime minister after discussion in our party.” [break]

He said the NC-led government would be appropriate to oversee next elections. Asked he is interested in the PM’s post, Deuba said, “That will be finalized after holding discussion.”

Deuba returned to the capital cutting short his far-west visit after the sudden political development in the last couple of days.
