BIRATNAGAR, Aug 5: Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of Madhesi People´s Rights Forum (Democratic) Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar on Wednesday said a national consensus government will be formed after forming a broader democratic front. [break]

Gachchhadar, who arrived here on Wednesday, claimed the present coalition government itself is a national government and it will get its full shape once the Unified CPN (Maoist) party joins the government. Twenty-two of the 25 political parties represented in the Constituent Assembly (CA) have backed the present coalition government.

He claimed that there was no relevance of Maoists´ agitation as the issue of the president´s move has already been closed.

Gachchhadar maintained that MPRF chairman Upendra Yadav became desperately impatient as majority of the party leaders joined MPRF-D. The MPRF vertically split into two parties following a dispute between the two factions led by Yadav and Gachchhadar on joining the present coalition government.
