Nepal to hold int'l conference on quality

KATHMANDU, Sept 7: The Network for Quality, Productivity and Competitiveness - Nepal (NQPCN) is organizing a two-day international conference on quality from September 18 to 20.



NQPCN Chairman Bishnu Das Dangol said that the conference, the first of its type in Nepal, will be beneficial to the people working in various business organizations and professionals associated with agencies related to quality certification. [break]



“The conference will promote modern philosophy, contemporary model, promotional experiment and trends related to quality and excellence,” said Dangol.



The organizer has said that the conference will mainly focus on ´Creating Value through Quality´. They expect participation of more than 300 participants, including scholars, researchers and students, among others, from more than 25 nations to take part in the event.



“There will be international experts on different subjects and altogether more than 70 international papers will be presented during the event,” said Dangol.



Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Kathmandu University, Nepal Tourism Board, Department for Quality and Measurement and Nepal AOTS Alumni Society are also the partners for the event.
