KATHMANDU, March 26: Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to organize a special orientation program for its newly elected members of the House of Representatives (HoR). The decision was taken during a Central Working Committee meeting held on Wednesday at the party’s central office in Lalitpur.

The meeting, chaired by Party President Gagan Kumar Thapa and held from Tuesday to Wednesday, decided to train members elected through both the first-past-the-post and proportional representation systems in the HoR from the March 5 elections. Newly elected members of the National Assembly will also receive orientation on March 28.
According to the party, the program will provide insights into parliamentary procedures, legislative practices, priorities, and the party’s commitments.
