NC ready to be opposition: Koirala

BIRATNAGAR, Dec 30: President of Nepali Congress (NC) Sushil Koirala said his party is ready to sit in the opposition if the Unified CPN-Maoist and CPN-UML form a coalition government.



Talking briefly to reporters at Biratnagar Airport, he said that the prime ministerial candidacy of his party will not be withdrawn.



Formation of the new government has got delayed due to duel character of UML, he said.



As the country will bear a great loss if the new constitution is not promulgated on time all political parties should pay attention in this regard, he said.
