NC condemns Maoist attack

KATHMANDU, Oct 28: The Central Working Committee (CWC) of the Nepali Congress (NC) on Wednesday condemned the Maoist attacks on its leaders, including former Prime Minister and senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba in Narayanghat.



The CWC also expressed its concerns to the increase in attacks by Maoists on its cadres in Illam, Bhojpur and Itahari districts in recent days, according to party spokesperson Arjun Narsingh KC.







According to KC, the CWC also expressed its serious concern over the Maoist announcement of fresh protests despite efforts to forge consensus on ending the present political deadlock.



The CWC will meet again Thursday.
