NAC GM assumes office

KATHMANDU: Newly appointed General Manager of Nepal Airlines Corporation, Madan Kharel, assumed office on Sunday. Kharel was appointed to the post by the government through competition.



 Issuing a statement, the national flag carrier said Kharel was the director of its commercial department prior to his appointment to the post. Speaking at a ceremony organized to welcome him, Kharel said he would try his best to procure aircraft using the correct procedure and will work toward enhancing the carrier´s service quality.
