NA Club wins women's Taekwondo

KATHMANDU, March 8 : Nepal Army Club became team champion in the First National Women's Taekwondo Tournament on Sunday winning three gold, two silver and four bronze medals.

University team finished second bagging three gold and two silver medals, while Wastern region won two gold medals, two silver and four bronze medals to finish third in the two day tournament that kicked off on Satuarday in Kathmandu.

Tara GC of Western region and Sarishma Shah of Army Club named best players in senior and junior sections respectively and bagged Rs 25,000 each.
