BIRATNAGAR, Nov 30: Chairman of Madhesi People´s Rights Forum (MPRF) Upendra Yadav on Monday ruled out the possibility of his party joining Madhav Kumar Nepal-led government.

Talking to media persons at Biratnagar airport, Chairman Yadav said that his party will join the government when the new government headed by a person who won the election is formed.

Yadav said since Madhav Kumar Nepal lost election from both the constituencies he contested during the Constituent Assembly election there is no chance of his party joining the present government. “The MPRF will show its participation in the government when someone elected heads the government,” he said.

Yadav also vented anger over the main political parties´ failing to acknowledge the role of small parties including the MPRF in resolving problems facing the country. He said that UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress and CPN-UML alone cannot resolve the problems of the country even if they wished to.

In a separate context, Yadav alleged that the Maoists were making mockery of rule of law and democratic norms by declaring ´autonomous states´ on their own.

He said a national government can resolve the problems facing the country.
