The student organizations had padlocked the HSEB office since July 31 by putting forth a seven-point demand.
As per the agreement, the bodies concerned have expressed their commitment to take initiative to guarantee free education up to grade 12 and direct the schools to replace their international names with national ones.
Similarly, officials have agreed to increase scholarship quota to 20 per cent from the existing six per cent and stop aggressive advertisements of the academic institutions.
Under secretary at the Ministry Dr Rojnath Pandey, Director at the Department Tek Narayan Pandey, Deputy Director Ram Sharan Sapkota, Under-secretary at HSEB Chiranjivi Bhandari and representatives of nine student organizations have signed the agreement.
