Minister meets players<br/>Jeet kun do seminar concludes

KATHMANDU, Nov 1: Chairman of the National Sports Council and Youth and Sports Minister Ganesh Tiwari Nepali paid a visit on Sunday to see the progress of the players preparing for the 11th South Asian Games. [break]



During his visit, Minister Nepali took information from the players and coaches of nine different games -- athletics, boxing, taekwondo, wushu, judo, kabbadi, karate, table tennis and hockey. The training for these games is being provided at Dasharath Stadium, Army Headquarters ground, Lainchaur and Brihaspati Vidya Sadan.



On the occasion, players and coaches updated the minister about their problems. The minister assured that he would solve the problems of the players and expressed his confidence that the players would perform their best.





Jeet kun do seminar concludes



KATHMANDU, Nov 1: The First Jeet Kun Do Seminar and Workshop organized by Nepal Jeet Kun Do Martial Arts Association concluded on Sunday.



Altogether three coaches from India, seven from Far-Western Region, four from Eastern Region and 24 from Central Region participated in the seminar.



Spain´s chief instructor of jeet kun do Joaquin Marcello gave training to the participants in Multi Purpose Martial Arts Center, Nayabazar.
