District Administration Office, Baglung had padlocked the hospital as per the government decision. But the local administration had made no security arrangement for the hospital.

“As the hospital was padlocked by the government, it should have made necessary arrangements to secure hospital´s property,” a local said.

Police Inspector Badri Shrestha confirmed that some medical equipment at the hospital has been stolen. “We have deployed security teams in the hospital premises,” Shrestha said.
