But the youths returned home after less than three weeks as they did not get the promised job.

In a joint meeting of local leaders of different political parties, police and local administration on Monday, Hari´s father Parshuram agreed to refund the money in three months.

Police Inspector Suman Timsina said Parshuram has agreed to refund Rs 240,000 to the four victims.

Hari´s brother Prabhakar had accompanied the victims to Thailand four months ago.

“We returned home after we didn´t get the promised job. Also, our pay was not as per the agreement,” said Binod Bishwokarma, one of the victims. “We had asked for refund right after we returned from Thailand. But Parshuram denied.”

The four youths had agreed to pay Rs 200,000 each. They had paid Rs 150,000 and promised to pay the remaining amount later.
