Man robbed of Rs 0.6m at gunpoint

LAHAN, Nov 1: An unidentified armed group looted Rs 600,000 from Om Sah, an IME agent in Golbazaar of Siraha, at gunpoint on Sunday evening.



Sah was returning home to Golbazaar on his motorcycle after withdrawing the amount from NIC Bank in Lahan when a few armed men on a motorcycle stopped and robbed him at gunpoint.



Police suspect the group could have followed Sah from Lahan.



The incident site lies some 5 km north of Lahan.
