According to Chief of the District Police Office, Achyut Prasad Pudasaini, the arrestee is Cher Singh Tamang, 37, of Gatlang VDC-2. Investigation on the case is underway keeping Tamang into the custody.[break]
It is said that Tamang raped 55-year-old woman of Kherogoun of Gatlang on December 1 when there were no other family member of the woman in the house.
Legal process to take action against Tamang has been forwarded after the victim filed a case against him.
Organizing a press conference, All Nepal Women´s Association, Rasuwa condemned the incident and demanded the stern action against the guilty.
