KATHMANDU, Sept 15: With Dashain and Tihar drawing closer, Makalu Footwear has introduced a new scheme targeting festive shoppers.
Issuing a press release on Tuesday, the footwear company said that the scheme titled 'Khutta Suhaudo Jutta, Nagad Upahar Pakka' will offer attractive discount on its footwear as well as cash prize.

According to the release, people buying party, casual and sports shoes will get a scratch card through which they can win cash prize ranging from Rs 75 to Rs 100,000 as well as get discounts of 5 to 50 percent.
The company has also appointed popular comedian Kiran KC as its brand ambassador.
