MaHa to be awarded

KATHMANDU, June 23: Madan Bhandari Rashtriya Puraskar Kosh has decided to jointly give away the first Madan Bhandari Rashtriya Puraskar to actor-duo Madan Krishna Shreshtha and Haribansha Acharya for their contribution for democracy, peace, justice and human rights.



President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav will confer the award on the actor-duo, popularly known as MaHa, on the occasion of 60th birth anniversary of Madan Bhandari on Tuesday according to the Kosh. [break]



The award carries purse of Rs 100,000.
