The result left both the teams unchanged in their respective positions with Machhindra remaining in the fourth position with 32 points, two points ahead of fifth placed Friends. “The result turned to be setback for both the teams,” said Friends coach Meghraj KC, hinting that any of the team could have moved closer to second position with a victory. “The slippery ground also might have hampered the level,” said KC.

Machhindra coach Raju Shakya said his team came up with better performance than previous matches of the super league despite absence of striker cum regular skipper Dipak Rai due to a match suspension.
