LRI thrashes Brihaspati

KATHMANDU:Host LRI thrashed Brihaspati 28-7 in the girls´ section of the Sixth Kathmandu Valley-wide Inter-school Basketball Tournament on Sunday. Sneha Shrestha alone scored 22 points for the host.



 In the boys´ section, Pushpa Sadan defeated Whitefield 62-54 as Nishchal Maharjan scored 21 points for the winning side. Anish Gurung scored 34 points for IMS to defeat Gyanodaya 64-36. Likewise, RIBS defeated Shridiwa 62-43. Aashis Pradhan netted 30 points for RIBS. [break]



 Buddha Academy beat Little Angels´ 42-37 riding on 16 points from Sunil Moktan, while Mingma Sherpa scored 30 points for Brihaspati School to seal a 46-43 victory over the B team of host LRI.
