Speaking at a press conference organized by Nepal Revolutionary Journalists’ Association here in the district, Paudel said that Koirala is responsible for failure to forge consensus as latter categorically dismissed a proposal of joining the incumbent Bhattarai-led government for some days and then go for new election under Koirala-led government, earlier.[break]
Addressing the Press conference, Paudel emphasized on the formation of new government under the leadership of independent personality as an alternative to bail the country out of ongoing crisis.
He opined that national consensus should be forged among the parties prior to resignation of prime minister from post. He further argued that country would plunge into jeopardy, if new government was formed sans consensus at the cost of legally formed government.
On the occasion, Paudel said that reinstatement of the dissolved Constituent Assembly could also be an alternative. However, Paudel categorically dismissed the accusation that his party is reluctant to go for new elections.
