KC to head Kathmandu police

KATHMANDU, Nov 30: Nepal Police on Monday assigned newly-promoted Superintendents of Police (SPs) to their duties and transferred existing ones.



SP Ganesh KC has been given charge of the Metropolitan Police Range Office, Kathmandu. KC replaces Nawa Raj Silwal, who was transferred after being promoted to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) last month.



Likewise, SP Bikram Thapa will take charge of the Metropolitan Police Range Office, Lalitpur. A total of 77 SPs were transferred or given charge Monday.
