Kapadi appointed as chief of TU's Maithali central department

JANAKPURDHAM, Aug 9: The Tribhuvan University (TU) has appointed Reader Parameshwor Kapadi as Chief of its Maithili Central Department.



Kapadi, who is teaching Maithili language for the past 21 years, is the fourth Chief of the Maithili Department.[break]



The TU appointed Kapadi as Chief of Maithili Central Department after Chief Dr. Pashupatinath Jha resigned from the post.



Maithili Central Department of the TU is at Ramsworup Ramsagar Multiple Campus, Janakpur.



Now 42 students are studying Maithili subject in Masters Degree first year.
