Journalists boycott minister's program

BAGLUNG, June 23: Journalists on Thursday walked out of a program, being attended by Minister for Local Development Urmila Aryal, showing dissent over the government’s inability to apprehend Parshuram Basnet, the prime accused in the June 5 attack on journalist Khilanath Dhakal.



The journalists boycotted an inaugural ceremony of a bridge over Kathe Khola.



Earlier on Monday journalist also boycotted a program attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Bharat Mohan Adhikari in Biratnagar for the same reason.
