Information center collects public opinion for new constitution

ILAM, March 26:  Public from Ilam district begins to collect suggestions holding discussions on the drafts and concept paper prepared by Constituent Assembly (CA) for the constitution writing after the constitution information center was established.



The local residents have been collecting the suggestions for the constitution writing after the center was established in the district in the coordination of Nepal Legal Society and CA Secretariat. [break]



They would send the suggestion received from the public within the three days to CA Secretariat, said a member of the society Bir Bahadur Khadka.



The center held discussion over the draft and concept papers in different 13 places and had already sent the suggestions collected from the local citizens to the CA Secretariat, he said.



The public is enthusiastic to participate in the discussion and include their suggestion in the center after it was set up in the district, said Chairman of Human Rights Forum Mohan Singh Thebe.
