Indo-Nepal Youth Conference in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, May 12: The Kathmandu Kaleidoscope: Indo-Nepal Youth Conference is taking in place in Kathmandu on May 13 and 14, 2012 at Nepal Tourism Board and Hotel De l’Annapurna respectively.



Given the fact that both India and Nepal have predominantly young population and given the close relations between the two countries, this conference is to provide a platform for interaction amongst the youth for further strengthening of our people to people relations. [break]



The conference aims to bring together the youth leaders in various fields from both India and Nepal.







The summit is scheduled to open with a short inaugural ceremony with H E Jayant Prasad, Ambassador of India to Nepal is set to inaugurate the summit by lighting the lamp.



During the conference, various topics such as film, media, business, literature, fashion, music and sports will be discussed within the panel and will also be open for floor discussion.



Visiting delegates from India for the conference include, Anurag Basu, Indian director; Smita Sharma from CNN-IBM; Utpal Parashar from Hindustan Times; Ishaan Suri, board director of Inter Arch Buildings; Ananda Bagaria of CNI and Nimbus Group; Aditya Sudarshan, novelist; Jattin Kochhar, fashion designer; Dr Shailendra Goswami, vocalist and associate professor at Delhi University and Sushil Chhetri, Caption of National Football Team of India.
