Home Ministry appeals against Pataka use

KATHMANDU, Oct 4: The Home Ministry has appealed to all concerned to not produce, sell, transport, import, and use the inflammable materials during the Tihar.



Issuing a press release on Sunday, the Ministry said if this request was ignored, legal action would be taken sternly.



The Ministry made this request citing the use of fire crackers, fire works and other explosives which would render negative impact on people´s health and also cause damage of life and property.
