The minister will hold talks with Chinese government and security officials on strengthening security management back home as well as the two countries and other matters of bilateral interest.
Speaking at the Tribhuvan International Airport before leaving for China, Rawal told journalists that his talks will center on gathering support for security organs in Nepal, crime control and better border security.
He said he will try to assure the Chinese officials that no anti-China activity will be allowed in Nepali soil. He said talks will also be held on expanding the bilateral talks between the home secretary level.
The Nepali delegation will also get information about the municipal security management in the Chinese towns.
Home Minister Rawal is being accompanied by Inspector General of Nepal Police Ramesh Chand Thakuri, APF Chief Sanat Kumar Basnet, NID Director Ashokdev Bhatta and other government officials.
